Playing with knives...electronically

This work was inspired by the great Bob Ross. I use to watch his show ALL-THE-TIME. He's actually one of the reasons why I got into art (painting in particular). So in one of his videos, he used the palette knife to create these beautiful mountainscape scenes, so I thought I try that as well. Enjoy!

Just Fiddlin' Around

Just trying out the different "brushes" in Corel Painter and they had this Chalk pastel "brush" so I thought I tried that out - I found the experience to be kinda enjoyable lol. Enjoy!

This idea has probably been done before... I was trying to do something that was J.M.W Turner-like and but to my dismay yet again, I couldn't get to work. But I do like how this came out for the most part. Anyways, enjoy!

Monk by the.... Canyon?

So this is my first real shot at doing a digital painting. I was trying to reproduce an German Romantic artist that I really admire (Casper David Friedrich), but it seemed to go down another route lol. I know up-close its very grainy, so I will fix that next time. With this I hope to do more digital work in the months to come. Enjoy!

Almost There...

So i'm almost done school and I can't wait to do some more art. I was thinking about diving into some more digital work, like digital painting and stuff... cuz at the end of a four-year visual arts program, your house becomes filled with ALOT of canvases lol. I'll probably just paint some of them if anything. Anyways, enjoy!
